AIPMO Announces Strategic Academic Partnership with Alma Mater Europaea - ECM

WOLLERAU, Switzerland - Dec. 4, 2023 - PRLog -- Association for International Project Management Officers (AIPMO) is delighted to announce a strategic academic partnership with Alma Mater Europaea - ECM for the launch of a new doctorate degree in "Strategy, Project Leadership, and PMO Management." This program, which will initially be part of the project management curriculum, marks a pivotal step in AIPMO's commitment to advancing PMO management as a globally recognized profession.

Alma Mater Europaea, an esteemed international university founded by the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg, Austria, is renowned for its academic excellence and international reach. The Academy, home to 2,000 leading scientists including 34 Nobel laureates, has fostered a diverse student body from over 30 countries. Alma Mater Europaea offers an array of programs at doctoral, master, and bachelor levels, covering disciplines such as humanities, project management, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, business, strategic communication, and various social sciences.

AIPMO's vision is to establish and consolidate the essential components that will elevate PMO management to the status of an internationally recognized profession. A critical element of this vision is the provision of graduate and postgraduate degrees in PMO management.

Since 2018, AIPMO has collaborated with the SBS Swiss Business School on a joint DBA doctorate program, contributing significantly to the understanding and development of PMO Management. With a focus on applied research and publishing, AIPMO has transitioned this program and its supervisors to Alma Mater Europaea to further enhance its academic offerings.
