"The Gifting of the Turkey's outreach program is an effective and engaging means of getting to know our neighbors and help them understand that they have a personal contact to reach out to in case they have any questions or concerns regarding our landfills," stated Walter "Wally" Hall, Meridian Waste's CEO. "Meridian Waste makes a concerted effort to involve our community, and most importantly our neighbors, in the plans and operations of our disposal facilities, and to allow them to know firsthand what we do at the disposal sites," said Hall. "We also provide accurate information from periodic solid waste industry detractors and for the community to recognize that we are transparent and proud of the way we manage our Meridian Waste landfills. We strive to protect the natural environment while providing a vital infrastructure solution to safely manage solid waste created by all of us."
