LOS ANGELES - Nov. 13, 2023 - PRLog -- As Thanksgiving approaches, families get excited about so many of their annual traditions. From the fabulous feast to putting up the tree… we share ways families celebrate and maybe you'll even find a new tradition to adopt.

"Carving" Time for the Family Feast

Every family has the one must have-dish or recipe passed down through the years that becomes a staple for Thanksgiving dinner. We turn to Omaha Steaks for not only our holiday and seasonal needs, but for all our meat favorites. From turkey to pumpkin pie, potatoes to green beans… Omaha Steaks has everything you need for a complete Thanksgiving meal regardless of the size of your guestlist. Plus you can find Thanksgiving recipes and tips on the Omaha Steaks website too. It's so simple to follow instructions and have the perfect feast delivered right to your doorstep.

Macy's Thanksgiving Parade & FOX Football

Whether you're waking up and watching the 95th year of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade or you're prepping the afternoon for the traditional Thanksgiving Day football game. We like to make an event of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in our own living room and set up a hot cocoa and coffee bar and snuggle in our blankets on the couch. You can create your own parade tribute with Tiptoe the Reindeer mugs, Parade pajamas, and even Christmas ornaments based on your favorite floats.

Attitude of Gratitude

Let's not forget the most important aspect of the entire holiday season — having an attitude of gratitude. One of our Thanksgiving traditions is Turkey on the Table. It is a reusable turkey, where you write down what you are thankful for on a feather. You can have each person do one every day in November leading up to Thanksgiving or have everyone write one before dinner. One of my favorite things is looking back at the feathers that we have written over the years. We also love that each turkey provides ten meals to a person in need through Turkey on the Table's partnership with Feeding America.

Trim the Tree and Deck the Halls

Dinner is done, it's time to deck the halls! Poll after poll shows Americans have the tradition of putting up their Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving.

Balsam Hill is the absolute place to turn when it comes to transforming your home for the holidays. Starting with the widest selection of realistic Christmas trees on the market available in various sizes, foliage types, and setup options. you cannot go with with artificial tree from Balsam Hill. Accompany the tree with their garlands and greenery and immediately your family room or living area becomes a cozy retreat into everything Christmas.
