WAN CHAI, Hong Kong - Nov. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Netflix incorporated mobile video games to its subscription television service offering last November 2021,, intending to build a stickier service that would keep users interested. The games are available to subscribers on Android and Apple (AAPL) iOS smartphones and tablets.

Netflix now provides 67 mobile games with no advertising, in-game purchases, or additional payments. Action, adventure, arcade, puzzle, racing, strategy, and simulation are among the genres represented.

Some are connections with the company's TV shows, such as "Narcos," "Stranger Things," "The Queen's Gambit," and "Vikings: Valhalla," while others are based on its unscripted TV shows, such as "Love Is Blind," "Nailed It!" and "Too Hot to Handle."

However, gaming remains a little portion of Netflix's revenue. According to Apptopia, a supplier of app data analytics, 2.2 million users globally play Netflix games on a daily basis, accounting for 0.9% of Netflix's 238.4 million customers as of June 30.

"Even though Netflix adds new games almost every month, the highest this number has ever reached was 2.7 million, and that was in January 2023," Apptopia's head of content and communications, Adam Blacker, told Investors Business Daily.
