Jason Young, 3Up Metal Works President, Earns Second Consecutive Wisconsin Titan 100 Award
National program recognizes 100 most accomplished business leaders in state
By: 3Up Metal Works
The honor is a repeat recognition for Young, who was named a 2023 Wisconsin Titan 100 in the program's first year in the Badger State. The Titan 100 program recognizes Wisconsin's top 100 CEOs and C-level executives.
Titan 100 honorees represent the area's most accomplished business leaders in their industry, based on criteria covering exceptional leadership, vision and passion. Collectively the 2024 Wisconsin Titan 100 and their companies employ more than 148,000 individuals and generate $76 billion in annual revenues.
"The leaders honored by Titan 100 are an extremely distinguished group, one I'm grateful to be included in," Young said. "This honor is a result of partnerships on many levels. I thank everyone who has supported me, and the team at 3Up Metal Works, for making it possible."
Young has led 3Up Metal Works, a custom metal fabrication company, since December 2020. Specializing in products such as stairs, ladders, platforms and safety guarding, the company has experienced substantial growth each year in work orders and revenue. Its success led to Young receiving awards from the Milwaukee Business Journal, BizTimes Milwaukee and The Daily Reporter.
Prior to embarking on his journey of business ownership, Young worked 12 years in managerial roles at companies in manufacturing, construction equipment, product distribution and roofing.
He earlier served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps and seven years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. His military service included a tour in Iraq. After purchasing his metal fabrication company, Young rebranded it as 3Up Metal Works in homage to his time in uniform.
"The Titan 100 are visionary leaders who inspire the Wisconsin business community," said Jaime Zawmon, President of Titan CEO. "These preeminent leaders have built a distinguished reputation that is unrivaled and preeminent in their field. We are humbled to recognize the Titan 100 for their efforts to shape the future of the Wisconsin business community."
The 2024 Wisconsin Titan 100 will be included in a limited-edition Titan 100 book and profiled exclusively online. They will be honored at an awards ceremony Jan. 18 at Fiserv Forum, and provided opportunities to interact and connect throughout 2024 with their fellow Titans.
"On behalf of all the partners and associates at Wipfli we congratulate all the Titan100 winners," said Gina Skibo, Partner at Wipfli. "It's an honor to recognize this diverse group of leaders in Wisconsin."
