Introducing Black Power Studios: The Future of Inclusive Filmmaking

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Sept. 19, 2023 - PRLog -- A new era in filmmaking is about to dawn as we proudly announce the launch of Michael Cohen, Adanna Nwosu and Nia Mbeki's Black Power Studios (BPS), a groundbreaking film studio situated on a sprawling 400-acre campus in Dover, Delaware. BPS is set to redefine the industry and elevate storytelling from diverse perspectives, making it the next level beyond BET (Black Entertainment Television). The studio is financed by two investment groups from Africa and China, making black entertainment independent again after the Viacom purchase of BET.

The Black Power Studio soundstages will be named after iconic figures who paved the way for Black excellence in cinema, BPS boasts seven state-of-the-art soundstages honoring legends Oscar Micheaux, Spencer Williams Jr, Gordon Parks, Melvin Van Peebles, Spike Lee, and Berry Gordy. These soundstages will serve as creative hubs for groundbreaking productions that will captivate audiences worldwide. BPS is committed to embracing cutting-edge technology to create cinematic magic. Our studio will incorporate green screen technology and harness the power of Artificial Intelligence to craft immersive experiences that transport viewers into dynamic worlds filled with rich and authentic storytelling.
