![]() Public School Enrollment Drops While the Schoolhouse Network Sees Increased EngagementThe Old Schoolhouse® launches the Schoolhouse Network across the US
By: The Old Schoolhouse® The Schoolhouse Network is launching Church Schoolhouses this fall because of how affordable they are to parents, how beneficial they are for children, and because they provide a safer environment for group learning. Parents are pulling their children out of public school in droves, and the Schoolhouse is a highly organized homeschool co-op, providing community for like-minded homeschoolers. Families across the US are seeing the value in the Schoolhouse Network and seeking Schoolhouses in their areas. If one does not exist yet, they are receiving training on how to start one. Paul and Gena Suarez have been traveling around the country speaking to churches about the Schoolhouse Network and how it operates. "Through discussion and a PowerPoint on how it works, we are meeting with church leaders and potential Schoolhouse Directors seeking to serve their surrounding homeschool communities. During that session Paul casts a vision about today's public school problem, and how the local church is the solution. Next is the PowerPoint presentation, ending with a Q&A," Gena Suarez, publisher of The Old Schoolhouse® The pilot program will begin in Tennessee this fall. Other states are working behind the scenes to launch Schoolhouses in their areas. Those interested in joining a Schoolhouse or starting one up in their area as early as this fall may visit JoinSchoolhouse.com today.
