"My first course was a huge success. The attending children actively participated, shared amazing stories, and drew their illustrations. I loved watching their excitement and creativity." Kennisha Griffin has taken her love for storytelling and creating books across central Texas to schools where she encourages students to read more and use their imaginations. "Writing stories is the perfect way to help our children read more," says Griffin. "This is a great tool to help young children become better readers and effective communicators." Griffin has another course at MCC scheduled for September 1st at 8 am. She'll teach students in 3rd to 8th grade. She also has a course called Book Publishing 1 and 2 for the fall semester.
