PRLog -- The Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable on Friday August 4 announced the appointment of seven new Vice Presidents for the Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable LAURP President Earl Ofari Hutchinson announced the appointments of what he called the organization and the community's "Magnificent Seven." Hutchinson noted that the appointments will vastly increase the organization's engagement on the major issues of homeless, police abuse, joblessness, racial and economic discrimination, and quality of life civic improvements in Los Angeles and beyond. The seven new Vice President bring a range of talents, skills, and organizational leadership, involvement, and engagement to the organization.
"The Los Angeles Urban Police Roundtable's new Vice Presidents,"
said Hutchinson, "have many years' experience and involvement with a wide range of local and national organizations. In their new capacity of LAURP VPs they will better enable the organization to be the forefront, community issues proactive and a strong voice for change that's always needed."
The New Vice Presidents are Russel McLyn, Harry Carey, Dwayne Wyatt, Donna Dymally, Pastor Oliver Bouie, James Spencer, and Omari Bakari.
They join Pedro Baez, the Vice President LAURP Phoenix Branch.
The Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable is also a non-profit charity. Since 2010, In addition to its community engagement, it has bequeathed more than 0ne hundred fifty cash grants to individuals and grass roots organizations for varied community and individual uplift projects and support.
