Follow on Google News | Savannah Author Leigh Ebberwein Held Book Signing Event For New Book In "the Saints Of Savannah""I love Savannah. Its quirkiness and uniqueness always lend a story to be told. I am blessed to be able to write about fictional characters living in our fair city, and share my stories with a large, welcoming audience," Ebberwein said. "I can't wait for the opportunity to meet more people in that audience. Savannah's people are a constant inspiration." "The Castle on Wassaw Sound" is the third novel in the "Saints of Savannah" series, which follows the lives of a group of friends in Savannah, Ga. In this installment, the friends must come together to solve a mystery involving a centuries-old castle on Wassaw Sound. Stephanie, the heroine, was thrilled to return to her hometown of Savannah and reunite with her tribe of girlfriends from high school. However, opportunities for contemporary architects in a city known for its historic houses were scarce. When offered a job for a "new" renovation, she couldn't believe her good fortune. If only she had known it was a 250-year-old castle that came with an irritating, kilt-wearing project manager. An alumna of St. Vincent's Academy, Leigh weaves Catholic motifs and her personal experiences growing up in Savannah into her novels, which delve into the bond between friends and family. Leigh, her husband, and their seven children live in Savannah, where she is inspired by her family, her strong faith, the tight-knit community's rich history, and the breathtaking views of natural beauty that surround the city. Her lovable characters have already found an enthusiastic fan base among Savannah's fiction lovers. "The Castle on Wassaw Sound" takes readers on a whirlwind journey from the charming coastal city in the American South, to the Spanish moss-draped landscape of its nearby barrier islands, to the misty highlands of Scotland. Along the way, mystery and intrigue grip the reader as the book provides an endless supply of surprise and delight. ABOUT LEIGH EBBERWEIN Leigh Ebberwein graduated from an all-girls Catholic high school and went on to graduate from Georgia Southern University.
