Nova Graphene Wins Innovation Grant for Green 3D-Printed Concrete

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - July 25, 2023 - PRLog -- Nova Graphene, a pioneering force in the advanced materials sector, is delighted to announce the award of a Productivity & Innovation grant from Invest Nova Scotia.  This funding will catalyze a collaboration with Dalhousie University to formulate an innovative, graphene-enhanced concrete designed specifically for 3D printing.

Working closely with Dr. James Forren and his team at Dalhousie University's School of Architecture, Nova Graphene aims to redefine the possibilities of low carbon construction.  The collaborative project will target a range of applications, such as: affordable housing to accommodate rapid population growth, provision of emergency shelters, and more.

This is Nova Graphene's second venture into the realm of additive manufacturing, demonstrating their commitment to pushing the boundaries of graphene's potential.  The company is currently amid a two-year Phase II project with Defence Research & Development Canada, developing 3D-printed ballistic armour for personal protection.
