By: Human Fly International
Human Fly International principals Tony Babinski and Alan Brewer will be on hand to reveal the true-life, behind-the-scenes history of the character whose legend lives on in social media decades after his real-world adventures, from its roots in a Montreal sausage factory to international television fame. "I have been fascinated by the Human Fly since I was 12 years old," explains Human Fly International President Tony Babinski, " I'm thrilled that he's coming back at a time when his story, which touches on themes of identity and the reckless, subversive pursuit of fame at any cost is more relevant than ever." Human Fly International Partner Alan Brewer adds: "of all the characters in various superhero universes out there, The Human Fly is the only one to have existed in the real world. That makes this a unique property with a fresh angle." "The Human Fly: Real Life Hero Returns!" panel will be moderated by Tommy Bechtold of New Rockstars and the Deep Dive. It takes place on Thursday, July 20 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the 4th floor at the Omni Hotel. In addition to Babinski and Brewer, the panel will feature Christopher Sequeira (editor-in-chief, writer, IPI Comics), Gerry Huntman (publisher, IPI/IFWG), Dana Brawer (writer, director), and Steven Tyler Sahlein (CEO, founder, Empire Media).
