Film Lab to Premiere 72 Hour Shootout Top Ten at Asian American International Film Festival

NEW YORK - July 13, 2023 - PRLog -- The top ten films of the Film Lab's 19^th annual 72 Hour Shootout filmmaking competition (the "Shootout"), entitled DiscrimiNATION: A Thousand Tiny Cuts, will premiere at The Asian American International Film Festival.  The films showcase new and emerging writers, directors, producers, and actors of color, with a focus on Asian Americans, women and other underrepresented filmmakers.  The premiere will take place on July 29, 2023, at 12:30pm, in the Hana House, 345 Adams Street Brooklyn, NY 1120.  The top 50 films will then be showcased on Film Lab's TV series, Film Lab Presents (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3591302/) and the top 100 will roll out on Film Lab's online channel, AAFL TV (www.YouTube.com/AsAmFilmLab).  Those not able to attend the premiere live in New York City may join Film Lab's awards livestream on July 29^th by subscribing, for free, to www.YouTube.com/AsAmFilmLab.  The top 50 Shootout teams this year include, in alphabetical order – NOT in order of ranking:
