The Jacksonville Children's Chorus to Perform at The International Children's Choir Festival

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - July 14, 2023 - PRLog -- From July 22 through July 29, 2023, the Jacksonville Children's Chorus (JCC) Touring Choir will be traveling overseas to participate in The International Children's Choir Festival at Canterbury and London. Festival conductors are Henry Leck, Indianapolis Children's Choir, and David Flood, Canterbury Cathedral.

Under the direction of President and Artistic Director, Darren Dailey, the Touring Choir performances will include the following:

July 24, 2023 - Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury, UK - 12:15pm

July 25, 2023 - Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury, UK - 5:30pm

July 26, 2023 - Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury, UK - 7:30pm

July 28, 2023 - Southwark Cathedral, London, UK - 7:30pm

This year's summer tour includes workshops, concerts, and tours of many cultural sites as part of the International Children's Choir Festival. The singers will be experiencing beautiful historic sites including Windsor Castle, The Tower of London, and Canterbury Cathedral.

Mr. Dailey, the President and Artistic Director of the Jacksonville Children's Chorus, has expressed his belief in the profound impact that participation in the choir has on the lives of its young members. As a passionate advocate for choral music, he has long had a dream of bringing his talented singers to the UK, where the art form has a rich and storied history.
