-- Over the past few weeks, you may have seen some music listings for Jon Robert Quinn not showing up on platforms like Spotify, iHeart, Apple Music and Amazon. This is because the Jon Robert Quinn team is really looking at slimming down the brand's offerings on books, music, movies and television. Earlier this year, a lot of the older, lesser popular content was removed from IMDB and YouTube. Also, some of Jon Robert Quinn's books were cleaned up with new artwork and formatting. And just recently, music titles like 'The Road to Hammerlane', 'Solo-Fisticated', 'Live 05' and both 'The Best of Jon Robert Quinn, Volume 1' and 'Volume 2' were removed from all major platforms. The focus comes from decluttering the brand's offerings. When we lived in a world where the public wanted physical albums on CD and cassette, it was important to release 'Best of...' compilations but with streaming, more and more people are picking and choosing the songs they want, adding to playlists and the rest of those albums never get seen or heard again. By slimming down the music catalog, this gives listeners more of what the audience wants that is more easily accessible than it was prior. Jon Robert Quinn movies and television have also had the same 'trimming' with 'High Rise: Path to Nowhere' and 'High Rise 2: Nowhere to Run' now accessible on the 'JRQTV' platform along side 'JRQTV News' rather than two platforms hosting the content. Television content is now only available on IMDB rather than YouTube and JRQTV. As 2023 winds down, the focus is to capture and keep more of the audience on products that consumers enjoy rather than losing them with products that cannot capture and keep an audience.
