GET's Dain Schult Comments On Putting Band Aids On Cancer Patients

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - June 6, 2023 - PRLog -- Global Entertainment Technology, Inc., ("GET"), continues to track traditional AM/FM radio dying.  Here's a case where, to use  Mark Twains' line, "News of my death has been greatly exaggerated." Or has it?

GET Chairman, Dain L. Schult noted "It was just last month when Ford announced it would no longer include AM radio in any of its vehicles – EVs and internal combustion engines cars and trucks.  Surprisingly and then again, not really surprising at all, that set into motion a chain reaction in the broadcast industry with groups like that National Association of Broadcasters and Congress going full tilt on a call to action to stop Ford from doing this with their vehicles.

"And Ford blinked.  The company agreed to continue offering AM radio in their vehicles… for the time being.

"While being hailed as a sign of unity on the terrestrial broadcast front and stopping what would been another nail in the coffin for AM terrestrial radio, it's merely another delaying tactic.

"Yes, it's ironic that as someone who has personally been in terrestrial radio since 1968, I come across as a traitor to my class, with talking about how Internet Radio is already the established leader over both AM and FM terrestrial radio. But it's the march of progress and technology that can't stopped, so in the end all of this brouhaha about AM terrestrial radio is a smoke screen masking what's coming.

"We are continuing to develop music and talk formats that can capture the sound of live radio the way it used to be but reimagined with it all going digital with GET's Internet Radio stations and worldwide syndication through our Miracle Wonderland Radio Company.  We are studying ways to create an AI-powered disc jockey programming staff that can play music, provide local news, cover trending social media and even display personality during breaks in the music.

GET1 is global friendly and initiative-taking in all things media and consulting. It will also be involved in live entertainment, sound systems and talent product development.
