The 19th Annual Atlanta Greek Picnic Heats Up Summer w/ Longest Running Greek Picnic in the Country

ATLANTA - June 2, 2023 - PRLog -- Newly reaccredited Morris Brown College will once again welcome thousands of HBCU students, alumni, Black sororities, fraternities and lovers of the HBCU college culture to the19th Annual Atlanta Greek Picnic (AGP). The 5-day cultural and historical event series will take place from June 7-11, 2023 at Morris Brown College, 643 M.L.K. Jr Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30314. In their nearly two decades of existence, AGP would like to not only continue to incorporate rich tradition, building community and sharing the values of Divine 9 brotherhood/sisterhood but to also bring awareness about the importance of Mental Health in our community.

Coming off the success of the Soul Healing Center at the R&B Soul Picnic, another event produced in association with Tiwa Works, AGP will have a "Soul Healing Center" onsite where attendees can receive complimentary 6-10 minute "Soul Healing Chats" with licensed therapist curated by The Resource Guild.

Attendees this year can expect 5 days full of engaging activities. Kicking off AGP is a D9 Economics Fireside Chat Career & Networking Mixer on Wednesday, at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs. Following the mixer is an R&B Experience at Whiskey Mistress. Thursday, AGP will be the AGP Block Party taking place at Underground Atlanta. Friday, is the Social Media Hangout + Brunch experience on the rooftop at Suite Food Lounge. Guests can expect food, drinks, music, hookah and an exclusive view of downtown Atlanta. Friday night is the official welcome to Atlanta - Official AGP Kick-off Party taking place at Opulence Lounge. Saturday will begin with the AGP Cares Community Service Project followed by the 19th Annual Atlanta Greek Picnic. One of the main attractions at the AGP is the annual Stroll Off where Divine 9 sororities and fraternities compete for a $10,000 prize! Closing out the weekend for AGP, Sunday will be a live streaming of church followed by Sundaze Brunch and Day Party at The V Restaurant & Lounge.
