Music can assist in overcoming obstacles and achieving aspirations

NEW YORK - May 25, 2023 - PRLog -- Masha Ermakova has been passionate about dancing since the age of five and singing since the age of eight, when she was introduced to a song called "Forest Deer" by her grandmother. She quickly memorized the lyrics and melody, leading her parents to seek out a vocal teacher for her. After juggling dance and vocal lessons for a few years, Masha eventually chose to focus on music.

In 2017, Masha entered "The Voice of Children: Ukraine" and impressed music producer Ruslan Kvinta with her rendition of "Summertime", making it to the final round and gaining an audience. Encouraged, Kvinta wrote a song for her to compete in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, but it was not chosen.

Undeterred, Maria Ermakova tried again in 2019 and became the crowd favorite at the national selection, although the professional jury ultimately did not choose her to compete. Despite her disappointment, Masha persevered, even when mistreated by teachers.

In 2020, Masha participated in a project to help children with cancer, and in 2021, she took a break to mourn her grandmother and decide whether or not to pursue singing. Ultimately, Masha's love for music prevailed, leading her to participate in a Russian musical project in 2022 before releasing her own cover of "Overjoyed".

Maria Ermakova has come a long way, but her passion for music remains as strong as ever.
