Florida Gulf Coast Communities and Businesses are Rallying to Support the JAX WALK

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - May 17, 2023 - PRLog -- Jax "JAX WALK" Huffman who is an Army Veteran is currently on a courageous 1500 mile walk from Florida to Michigan for America's vets.  His route began in Sarasota Florida on May 13^th and will end in Rochester Hills Michigan July 13th at the 6th annual Salute our Warriors event.  He's carrying "nikki" a very special homing pigeon that will be released once he completes his 7 state walk.  States include: Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indianapolis, Ohio, and Michigan. The Salute our Warriors event gives 97% of donations raised to the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund.

Veterans are the focus of JAX WALK.  "They've put their lives on the line, so we can have our lives that we have today, and give me the ability to go chase my dreams, and I think we just owe it to them", Huffman said.

The Salute our Warriors event pays tribute to the men and women who have served and sacrificed in all five branches of military. The special event draws a large crowd of dignitaries from local, state, and national levels of public service, active military, and veterans.  Funds are raised to help injured soldiers pay their living expenses and aid families of the fallen.  Also individual veterans are selected each year as guests of honor and given a heroes recognition for their dedicated services.
