Dr. Stephanie Kinsey completes advanced professional training at ICCMO in Goa, India

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - May 11, 2023 - PRLog -- Stephanie Kinsey, DDS, owner and founder of Palencia Dental, recently completed advanced training and continuing education coursework at the 22nd Biennial International Congress of College of Craniomandibular Orthopaedics (ICCMO) in Goa, India. The college organization's biennial convention was held in India for the first time from May 4 through May 7 at The LaLiT Golf & Spa Resort with the theme, "Namaste ICCMO – The Airway Truth ".

Dr. Kinsey participated in classes and hands-on workshops taught by international experts from around the world. They shared their scientific knowledge about neuromuscular dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), temporomandibular disorder (TMD), dental sleep medicine, occlusion pathology, tongue physiology, 4D digital and radiology diagnosis, and related postural and motion disorders, among others. Additionally, Dr. Kinsey experienced the event's international trade fair, along with touring the region, and boating on the Mandovi River near the Arabian Sea.

Dr. Kinsey continues her distinguished training and research in all facets of dentistry and patient safety to serve the community and educate patients on the importance of dental and oral health. She regularly joins medical professionals to learn more about the latest technologies in clinical and professional interests. For more than 28 years, Dr. Kinsey's concentration is in neuromuscular dentistry, sleep apnea, TMJ, TMD, migraine pain treatments, oral surgery, implants and cosmetic dentistry, and facial aesthetics, to name a few.

She is an American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) Qualified Dentist. Dr. Kinsey is certified with the Florida Board of Dentistry to administer intravenous (IV) conscious sedation for patient comfort during dental procedures. She graduated with honors in 1994 from the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado and was accepted into a General Practice Residency in Chicago, Illinois at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center as chief resident.
