Sweet Memories Partners with Cockeye Creamery to Bring Local Ice Cream to the Community

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - May 4, 2023 - PRLog -- This past Wednesday was a "cool deal"- no pun intended, for the new vintage candy shop "Sweet Memories Vintage Tees", as they partnered with Cockeye Creamery LLC in Warren.

The store, located at 1282 Trumbull Ave A1, Girard, OH 44420, will now be selling pints of Cockeye Creamery's ice cream, including their famous flavors- Blackberry Chocolate Chunk, Buttermilk Pie, Cookie Monster, Peanut-Butter Pie, Butter Pecan and Pistachio.

Linda Barton states, "Cockeye Creamery is an amazing brand- our area is known as the rust belt, but it's really the ice cream belt. There are so many ice cream brands founded here. To have ice cream in our store from a local business helps this legacy to live on."

Big names in the ice cream industry such as Good Humor, Handels, Isaly's and Klondike have all started here in Ohio. Barton stated she started this candy store within  the community and had to bring in local ice cream to honor it. Sweet Memories is the largest licensed manufacturer of branded ice cream shirts in the US. Creating unique shirts for Good Humor, Popsicle, Klondike, Breyers and Isaly's. But also produces licensed candy branded shirts for Tootsie Roll, PEZ, Dum-Dums, Dubble Bubble, and more.

Sweet Memories is not your typical "scoop" ice cream store, but they have set it up for customers to sit in retro chairs, enjoy a pint of ice cream and take in the nostalgia.

Soon the iconic "Isaly's" brand of ice cream will fill the freezer at the store, as well.
