By: Mastodon Golf Club To learn more about the mastodon and its excavation a lecture given by Brad Lepper, (who was an archaeologist and one of the excavators of the specimen back in 1989) gives a great, in-depth explanation. The discovered specimen is the most complete skeleton of Mammut Americanum ever found. Although the original skeleton now resides in Japan, the course has a smaller replica to commemorate its historical significance (The original Heath Ohio mastodon discovered was about 10 feet tall). The Mastodon Golf Club remains a testament of the rich history of the area and its long-gone mastodons. This mastodon was an important piece of science, and our course's history, as it remains a celebrated share of both to this day. As the largest (and only) Mastodon known in the area today, our beautiful course offers players at all levels a great day of golf and a hands-on experience with Heath, Ohio's history. You can also practice your game on one of the 3 new GSPro Golf Simulators. The GSPro room is also available for rent for parties like at top golf. Food and adult beverages are available, and scheduled parties may be booked to include your own private server. https://youtu.be/ End
