This event promises an unforgettable evening of musical entertainment, celebration, learning, and networking. The Haitian Association of Indiana was founded by Frere Herard in 2008 as a sure way to guarantee that the rich Haitian culture would be passed down to the next generations growing up in the Hoosier state and nearby states. Indiana's population has grown to include over 40,000 Haitian immigrant residents in recent years. As a result, the HAI mission has evolved to provide aid and essential resources to the immigrant community and share the Haitian culture with all Friends of Haiti and Indiana residents. The Haitian Association of Indiana promotes social well-being and supports the educational advancements of Haitians in Indiana. It shares Haiti's rich culture with the community and the Friends of Haiti in Indiana. Guests of the gala will learn more about the organization's work and programs and its need to build a Community Resource Center.
