Paul Davis of Southeast and Fox Valley, Wisconsin hosts live burn and fire awareness program

APPLETON, Wis. - April 28, 2023 - PRLog -- Brady Chuckel, president of Paul Davis of Southeast and Fox Valley, Wisconsin and Waukegan, Illinois, a leading provider of fire and water damage clean up, restoration and remodeling services, recently announced the company's Appleton office hosted a live burn event at 3210 N Zuehlke Drive. On April 27, attendees included 60 insurance adjustors from a wide variety of companies in the region. The class provided participants with professional certification credits and focused on conditions that fire investigators observe when determining the Origin and Cause of a kitchen fire.

The fire investigation firm of Kubitz and Associates, Inc. from Oshkosh, along with Paul Davis team members hosted the all-day event with a welcome and registration; Origin and Cause presentation led by Mike Quick IAAI-CFI, a Fire and Explosion Consultant and Investigator with Kubitz and Associates, Inc.; a live burn with kitchen fire ignited and extinguished by the Appleton Fire Department, and a burn cell donated by the North Fond Du Lac Fire Department. Lunch was served with an overview and discussion at the culmination of the class.

According to Christian Osell, Paul Davis Restoration's Emergency Response Special Liaison, the local office works closely with fire departments and insurance adjustors to assist in the preservation and securement of fire incidents and offers the best possible care for property owners and their structures. "We greatly appreciate the fire professionals who assisted us with overseeing and controlling the burn cell smoke and flames held outside of our facility. Paul Davis will restore the burn cell which will later be used as a mobile unit to educate other groups in the community," said Osell.
