Without art, no story is complete! While older Comix kids can utilize an online graphic design program, younger Comix kids will draw their cartoons. What if a boy developed magical antlers in place of ears? A female who has the ability to hear cats' thoughts? You can sketch anything if you can imagine it! You get to be the judge & have your comic strip displayed on 98thPercentile's social media wall for the world to see! The best comic strips should be liked and shared. The virtual comic-strip competition called COMIX Summer Camp, organized by 98thPercentile, is open to students in three grade ranges: grades 1 and 2, grades 3 and 4, and grades 5 and 6. The competition's grade levels are based on students' present academic standing. Only US citizens are eligible to enter this contest. This is a completely online competition. The participants would have access to videos: after registering for the event.

After the participants have finished their storyboard, a tutorial will show them how to use the design tool Canva to turn their storyboard into a comic strip.

The treasure chest is stuffed with accolades, prizes, scholarships, and presents for the winners! The top 3 winners will be awarded Gift Coupons & Scholarships. Every participant will receive a certificate of participation. There will be featured blog interviews about the 3 winners per category.

The registration period for COMIX Summer Camp began on April 19 and ends on June 10, 2023. The submission period for comics is June 1 through June 25, 2023. From June 15, 2023, entries by 98thPercentile will be posted on their Facebook & Instagram pages. And starting on July 3, 2023, the winners will be declared.
