FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - April 18, 2023 - PRLog -- Celebrating moms on Mother's Day is easy this May thanks to the dedicated team at Frankenmuth's Bavarian Inn.

Guests visiting Michigan's "Little Bavaria" can experience wonderful dine-in, takeout and buffet options throughout Mother's Day (Sunday, May 14) at either the Bavarian Inn Restaurant or Bavarian Inn Lodge (https://www.bavarianinn.com/).

For those interested in the Restaurant's Mother's Day Takeout Dinner, check out the family meal option serving approximately 6-8 people. The cost is $199 (includes taxes) and orders must be received by Thursday, May 1. They can be picked up at designated pick-up times on May 14 at the Castle Shops entrance or designated parking spots curbside, located on the north side of the restaurant.

The family meal includes a 9-10 pound hickory smoked boneless ham, two quarts each of mashed potatoes (with a quart of gravy), baked dressing, buttered noodles, and vegetables. In addition, included are a quart of cole slaw, a quart of cranberry relish, one loaf of homemade bread and chicken seasoning. A large apple or lemon meringue pie can be added for $15. Substitutions are not available for the takeout dinner.

The Bavarian Inn Lodge is hosting its annual Mother's Day Buffet on Sunday, May 14 as well with seating times starting at 11 a.m. in various dining rooms. The cost is $42.50 for adults, $21.50 for 8-12 year olds, $13.95 for 3-7 year olds and free to those two and younger (not including tax and gratuity).

The Mother's Day Buffet includes various salads including strawberry spinach, Caesar, Oberfranken pasta, tabbouleh with couscous, apple sauce, and cranberry relish; Frankenmuth Cheese Haus garlic cheese spread; waffles, scrambled eggs; Frankenmuth Chicken; carved prime rib; herb roasted carved pork loin, grilled chicken; many side items along including potatoes and gravy, buttered noodles; baked dressing; and an array of vegetables.

For dessert, guests can enjoy Bavarian Inn blueberry strudel, rum torte, chocolate mousse, fruit salad, chocolate mini tarts, Guten Tag cake, lemon squares, whipped cream and assorted cheeses and fruit.
