John Rocker Interview With I Only Touch Greatness Podcast

ATLANTA - April 16, 2023 - PRLog -- One of the most controversial baseball players of all time stopped by the Vancouver Podcast I Only Touch Greatness. Host Ryan Haze did not hold back when asking his questions and John gives him like 30 good soundbites.

The interview starts off with John Rocker Chirping the Canadians and how they always say EH. John then goes on to talk about his childhood growing up and how he actually wanted to play football but he was to slow and white. He talks about Roger Clemons being his idol growing up.

John talks choosing to go pro, and sign with the Atlanta Braves, even though he was committed to attend Georgia University. He talks about the pressures that came with playing for his hometown team.

John Rocker then gets offended when Ryan Haze asks him to talk about the now infamous Sports Illustrated article. He talks about being traded to Cleveland, then to Texas where he hated the manager. This was when he started to get drug tested and started hating baseball.

He talks about his experience on the show Pro's Vs Joe's, and what his thoughts are on Danny McBride character Kenny Powers from Eastbound & Down being based off his career.

John Rocker goes on a big rant, calling the producers of the show Survivor all kind of names and talked about how much he hated being a part of that show, and telling the women he was going to knock her teeth out.

He is asked if he is misunderstood, and he goes of on one more rant talking politics and the new rules in baseball.
