ACI's "Big FOUR" Pharmaceutical Pricing and Rx Drug Pricing Boot Camps returns to NYC this May

NEW YORK - April 6, 2023 - PRLog -- American Conference Institute (ACI) is pleased to announce the roll out of a full weeklong training course for pharmaceutical pricing professionals  with the return of the "Big Four" and Rx Drug Pricing programs from May 1-5 at the New York City Bar Association.

Together these boot camp style programs seek to provide participants with foundational and supplemental training in government contracting, and complex pharmaceutical pricing calculations with a special focus this year on the implications of the Inflation Reduction Act.

ACI's  pharmaceutical pricing week will get underway on May 1-2 with the 17^th Annual "Big Four" Boot Camp, co-chaired by James W. Kim (Partner, Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP), and Merle DeLancey (Partner, Blank Rome LLP). Topics to be covered include:

• VHCA Section 603: Non-FAMP/Inflation Reduction Act Implications
• A Practical Guide to Successfully Securing and Managing a VA Contract
• Navigating the Latest Changes to the System for Award Management

ACI's pharmaceutical pricing week will round off on May 4-5 with the 21^st Annual Rx Drug Pricing Boot Camp, with pre-conference workshops available on May 3. This year's bootcamp  will be co-chaired by Trevor Wear (Partner, Sidley Austin LLP) and Tiffany Frankson (Assistant General Counsel, Global Pricing and Health and Value, Pfizer). Topics to be covered include:

• An In-Depth Examination of the IRA's Impact on Medicare and Medicaid Drug Pricing
• Exploring New Developments Affecting the PHS 340B Program
• Survey and Analysis of Present and Pending State Drug Transparency Laws
• A Manufacturer's Guide to Critical Drug Pricing and Reimbursement Considerations for New Products
• Understanding Fraud and Abuse Control as Affected by New Provisions Under Government Drug Payor Programs
