Weldon received her J.D. from William & Mary School of Law and her B.A. from University of Arizona. Weldon is very active in her community and nationally in the American Bar Association's Forum on Franchising. In December of 2022, she was announced as chair-elect of the Forum on Franchising and will serve a two-year term as chair commencing August 2023. She was most recently the finance officer of the governing committee of the Forum on Franchising and served as the co-chair of the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Forum on Franchising. Weldon was inducted into the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation in 2020, and the Litigation Counsel of America in 2017. She is currently the Secretary of the Board of the Orange County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
