Gospel Industry Music Veteran Carl B. Phillips Launches 24-Hour Internet Gospel Radio StationProve Me Gospel Radio will be the home of the "Carl B. Phillips Show"
After a 9-year absence from internet gospel radio and debuting as an indie gospel recording artist, Carl B. Phillips, is returning to his first love Gospel Radio. A graduate of Specs Howard School of Broadcasting in the late 70's, Carl's Gospel Radio career in the Detroit area include, weekend on-announcer for WMKM, on-air announcer, music director, and program director for WWON, and on-air announcer and music director for WEXL. He's also hosted several internet radio shows including, "Jubal's Joint" on Blog Talk Radio and the "Carl B. Phillips Radio Network" on Live365. Prove Me Gospel Radio is the home of "The Carl B. Phillips Show", allowing Carl the opportunity to interview and share the stories of gospel artists, songwriters, and other creatives. Carl stated "I made a decision to launch a 24-hour internet gospel radio station to offer an outlet for me to utilize my experience and background in gospel music and gospel radio, provide an opportunity for exposure to indie gospel artists music, and share from my vast collection of classic gospel music." For the station Carl is using a format he named "H.I.T.". The station will feature Hit Songs (current popular gospel music), Indie Gospel Artists music and Throwback (classic) gospel songs. The mixture of music ensures listeners from various generations will hear music that is inspiring and uplifting. About Carl B. Phillips Carl B. Phillips is a 50-year gospel music industry veteran. He's an international gospel-recording artist, songwriter and producer from Detroit, MI. His debut cd "Great Rain", features the singles "Great Rain", "I Know What God Did Last Summer" "Prove Me" and "Meeting In The Air". In response to the pandemic and injustices, Carl released a remake and video of Stevie Wonder's "Heaven Help Us All" in 2020. Through his national distribution partnership with IndieBlu, in 2021, Carl released the single "Good Enough For God".
