Dream Giveaway Announces Its First North Dakota Winner! Lucky Guy Won a Rare 1969 Pontiac GTO!

GRAVETTE, Ark. - March 30, 2023 - PRLog -- The GTO Dream Giveaway brought to you by Ames Performance Engineering ended on January 30, 2023. Wendell Herman from North Dakota is the grand-prize winner of a 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible plus $15,000 towards the prize taxes.

Mr. Herman's donation to enter the GTO Dream Giveaway on October 6, 2022, landed him the winning entry. "This is a fun way to help out some great charities," he said. "I have donated to our local MADD chapters and Honor Flight hubs in the past. My Dad was a World War II veteran and he went on a trip with Honor Flight when he was 89 and I was his escort. This trip with Honor Flight was a highlight of his later years."

On February 20, 2023, he received the congratulatory telephone call giving him the exciting news. "I didn't think it was real," he said. "Once Chris mentioned the donation I had made back in October to help the different charities, I started to realize it was real. I was just amazed because I've never been this lucky in the past."

Mr. Herman, retired from Wells Fargo Bank in Fargo, now works part time as a real-estate agent for AcrePro. In his free time, he and his wife are active in their church and volunteer with other community organizations. They also enjoy traveling to visit their children and grandchildren and attending North Dakota State University sporting events as NDSU is their alma mater. He'll be doing something else in his free-time, too. "I look forward to sharing my GTO with my family, friends, neighbors and clients by giving them all rides!"
