BOOST Conference Celebrates 15 Years of Learning for Educators & Professionals Supporting Youth

The annual BOOST Conference, taking place at the Palm Springs Convention Center from April 25-28, 2023, celebrates 15 years of learning, networking, and personal and professional growth for educators and youth-serving professionals.
 
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - March 23, 2023 - PRLog -- The annual BOOST Conference takes place at the Palm Springs Convention Center from April 25-28, 2023.

The conference is hosted by BOOST Collaborative and highlights quality tools and resources, promising practices, and the latest innovations for educators to provide a leading-edge experience in professional development and serve the field of in and out-of-school time educators.

To celebrate their "Sweet 15" anniversary, BOOST will welcome notable Keynote Speakers Principal Linda Cliatt-Wayman and Dee Hankins to deliver their inspirational keynote addresses during the conference's General Sessions.

Principal Wayman is a powerful and inspiring Speaker, CEO, and Author who uses her decades of experience to move educational leaders from knowledge to practice in ways that are transformative for children. Wayman will give her Keynote Address at the Opening General Session on Wednesday, April 26, at 8:45 am, and you can meet Principal Wayman at her Meet the Authors event on April 26 at 9:45 am.

As a former at-risk youth in foster care, Dee Hankins is now a dynamic and passionate Inspirational Speaker and Storyteller who shares his personal story about his life experiences to inspire others. Dee Hankins will deliver his Keynote Address on Thursday, April 27 at 8:45 am at the General Session, presents a Master Class, "Resilience is Everything" on April 27 at 10:00 am, and you can meet Dee at his Meet the Keynote event on April 27 at 12:00 pm.

Claudine James, the #1 educator on TikTok with an audience of over 5 million followers, will be honored as this year's OSTI (Out-of-School Time Innovation) award recipient for her Excellence in Leadership. Claudine will also present a Master Class, "Establishing Positive Connections with Your Students" on Wednesday, April 26 at 2:45 pm.

BOOST will also host in-depth Pre-Conference Academy sessions from FranklinCovey Education, Human Rights Campaign Foundation/Welcoming Schools, North America Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF), and the San Diego County Office of Education on Tuesday, April 25. The California AfterSchool Network, ProSolve, Think Together, and Woodcraft Rangers will join us as Workshop Strand organizations who will present workshops throughout the conference.
