Self-Help Book "Been There Got Out" Provides Steps for Those Going Through a High-Conflict Divorce

With a coaching practice that provides expert, strategic guidance to people in high-conflict relationships, divorce, and custody battles, they have also been romantic partners for nearly eight years. "We are role models in effectively dealing with our exes while having one foot still in the legal system and an example of a healthy, loving relationship that began in midlife," stated Johnson. "Our experiences have given us tremendous empathy which encourages people that they can get there, too."

Her case was published in the Connecticut Law Journal and is now being used as legal precedent.
