Yours Humanly Names Three Recipients of Its Children Have the Power to Empower Award

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - March 1, 2023 - PRLog -- Yours Humanly, a global nonprofit that transforms the lives of children in need around the world by providing access to quality education and equitable resources, has named three new 2023 recipients of its Children Have the Power to Empower® Award, which recognizes children for their outstanding acts of goodness that make a significant difference in the lives of others.

Rishika Jeyaprakash, 16, (Mason, OH), received the Children Have the Power to Empower Award for the outstanding acts of goodness she performs through her nonprofit, Little Helpers, dedicated to spreading kindness and inspiring other children to give back in significant ways. She has raised $19,000 to benefit multiple community organizations, performed over 65 service projects benefiting those in need, delivered over 4,500 new toys to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and engaged over 650 child volunteers to help her in the efforts.

Aniruddh Marella, 17, (Frisco, TX), received the Children Have the Power to Empower Award for the outstanding acts of goodness he performs through his nonprofit, EveryoneMatters2Us, dedicated to helping children around the world receive free primary education, ensuring greater opportunities for those in need. He has raised over $15,000 for humanitarian projects that include building classrooms for children in India, supporting the Texas Women's Foundation, and providing resources for COVID-affected patients.

Harita Suresh, 15, (Jersey City, NJ), received the Children Have the Power to Empower Award for the outstanding acts of goodness she performs through her nonprofit, Little Apple Academy, that offers free, online coding classes to children around the world, and through her Charity Canteen, established to feed her hungry neighbors. By providing children in need access to computer science education, she is empowering them through education and community.
