Jan-Carol Publishing Sees Continued Success in 2022

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Feb. 24, 2023 - PRLog -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., (JCP) of Blountville, Tennessee is proud to announce their 2022 sales goals were stronger than anticipated and exceeded goal expectations. The recognized book press broke barriers for their authors by opening a brick-and-mortar small bookstore as a storefront in their new office location. With a goal breaking number of new authors and projects in 2022, relocating, and the opening of their bookstore, this TN book publishing company is positioned for continued success in the 2023 year!

Jan-Carol Publishing began as the small publisher of Voice Magazine for Women, the first women's magazine of its kind in the Northeast TN and Southwest VA region. In 2012 JCP purchased a small book press, and then a second press in 2013. Having published over 400 titles, Jan-Carol Publishing saw opening a storefront bookstore as an opportunity for their authors to sell more books and for the company to expand their brand by offering additional products.

"Relocating our office with a small storefront provides more selling opportunities for our authors and for JCP to grow as a company," stated JCP business owner, Janie C. Jessee. "Our bookstore created a pathway for additional branding, marketing, and book sales. In less than six months, we have already seen an increase in our online sales as well, which we feel is directly related to having our bookstore."

JCP's plans for 2023 include creating a new buzz for their backlist titles as well as focusing on new titles. "With over ten years in book publishing, some of our titles are being overshadowed with new titles. Just like last year, we'll be working with our backlist titles as well as new authors in 2023," stated Jessee. "Having the bookstore allows our older titles, as well as our newer titles, more recognition. We also started a book blog in 2022, which has been gaining momentum," Jessee continued. "And this year we're planning to make more of our books available as audiobooks. This will be supported by our new and coming soon podcast. We are excited about what the new year will bring to JCP."

Jan-Carol Publishing's company model takes tools of hybrid publishing and builds into a traditional publishing company.
