New Laos High Speed Train to Benefit Tourists

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Feb. 6, 2023 - PRLog -- The new high-speed train through Laos, officially launched in December 2021, runs from the Chinese border all the way to the capital Vientiane.

Few places are better for a quick escape than Laos, a tranquil land with stunning scenery, friendly locals, great food and an ambling pace of life.

The brand-new train line has opened-up travel in Northern Laos in a way never seen before in the landlocked country, and journeys which previously took the best part of a day, driving along dusty roads, can now be completed in a couple of hours, while you relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery whizz past from the comfort of your air-conditioned carriage.

Key stops along the train line include Laos' tiny and welcoming capital city Vientiane; picturesque riverside Vang Vieng; the eternal travellers' favourite Luang Prabang; and Oudomxay - the gateway to the remote villages and beautiful scenery of Muang La.
