Black History Month Roundtable to Focus on Haitian Americans' Role in South Florida 2023

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Feb. 1, 2023 - PRLog -- Black History Month Roundtable to Focus on Haitian Americans' Role in South Florida and Business, Friday, February 17, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce, newly located 3472 NE 5th Ave Unit 8, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334.

The event is $5 to members and $12 for guests and open to the public and will be a lively interactive program covering Haitian American Roots and this year's national theme of "Black Resistance." The chamber will provide light refreshments and snacks. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own brown bag lunch.

Key issues brought up during the discussion to include the scope of income generation for Black creators, barriers to funding, and access to opportunities.
