Jerome reflects on his childhood. This southern set drama reveals moments of joy, connection, and pain from the early 90's to the present day. Will his dreams, family, and friendship stand the test of time? -- This film brought together a community of over forty casts and crew from around the twin cities region. Although filmed and edited in Minneapolis, MN, the story's writer is a Duluth native, AJ Valentine, a Denfeld high school graduate. -- We welcome press inquiries and participation at the red-carpet event. In addition, you are welcome to interview the cast and crew on the red carpet. If you would like a press pass, kindly email email@example.com, and we will confirm your attendance. Press passes will give you access to the red carpet press area and the theater's honorary seating (with complimentary tickets).
DanSan Creatives is an organization that fosters a positive, creative community—committed to empowering intergenerational creatives and diversifying narratives through arts and arts education. We envision a world where all people have access to self-preservation and liberation through storytelling, working to amplify Black stories as a driving force of cultural preservation, freedom, healing, access, social justice, and change. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Our current sponsors are Kennon Family Foundation, Verna Thornton, M.D., NAACP Duluth and Blackbird Revolt.
