WEST BROMWICH, U.K. - Jan. 25, 2023 - PRLog -- The West Bromwich-based acrylic fabricator is fitting the solar panels to the roof at their 46000sq ft HQ. In fact the panels will occupy over 90% of the available roof space. That is - as the company states - a lot of roof and that means they will be able to generate a lot of renewable carbon-free energy that will significantly reduce their energy-use and significantly lower their impact on the environment.
The panels are currently being installed and the company aims for the project to be completed by end of Feb 2023.
Developing a more sustainable approach to how we work is a very important to our organisation, and our investment in solar energy is just the latest in our ambitious plans to reduce our environmental impact that has seen the company - established in 1969 invest £m in state-of-the-art machinery that minimises energy use and waste material, use recycled material wherever possible, including components for Jaguar Land Rover, improve waste segregation resulting in significantly more plastics sent for recycling, and install an energy-efficient lighting system at our HQ that reduced C02 emissions by 17 tonnes a year.
They continually work with their customers to develop the most sustainable option for their projects in sectors such as retail, automotive, industrial, camping & leisure vehicles, highway & off-highway and many others.
