Street Shepherd: Buying Jesus A Sandwich

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Jan. 21, 2023 - PRLog -- Street Shepherd announces the availabilty of its brand new social media channels to showcase what Jesus is doing on the streets today.

For the past 7 years Street Shepherd has been walking the streets and helping the homeless with food, clothing and other provisions. Along the way it has met more than 1,000 people among the homeless and relays their stories now on social media so that others can see God in action.

"We launched the social media channels to show people that God is real and that miracles happen still, that all of us are supposed to help one another in this life," said Step Harmon, founder of Street Shepherd.

The Street Shepherd social media channels are now available on many popular platforms and formats.

On YouTube, Facebook and TikTok you will find countless stories of courage, hope, faith, healing and love as God shows the broken and downtrodden he is with them.

Among the stories:

* A 22-year old who had cancer and doctors gave up on got healed and is now cancer free

* A 50-year old man who couldn't stand or hear out of one ear got healed

* A 19-year old in a coma who couldn't move after a car accident got healed and now walks again

* A 25-year-old who had his things stolen got a job and home after praying

"Jesus says we are to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and more," said Step Harmon, Street Shepherd founder. "He also said the things he did we would do. And what are they? Go about doing good, sharing the kingdom of heaven."

The world can be a dark and lonely place for many and by simply bringing God's light this change lives for the better, Step added. For example, the other day, a homeless man stood outside in the cold air so we invited him in to have a sandwich at the nearby Subway. A simple thing but important to God.
