NHL Legend Jeremy Roenick Joined Ryan Haze and the I Only Touch Greatness Podcast this week, where JR thinks Connor Bedard is the real deal, he tells the first goal, 500th goal stories, talks faking his death, and being drafted out of high school
By: Haze Ent
JR joined the show and talked about draft day, how he was told not to step on a scale pre draft, saying that goal scoring doesn't matter how much you weigh. Drafted right out of high school is un heard of but no for JR.
He tells his first goal story how he got called up to the big show and in his rush to get to the rink he t-boned a car, and showed up late to the game only to find out his jersey had no name bar on it and he ended up scoring his first goal with no name bar on the jersey.
JR then talks about his favorite cities and a good Vancouver story. JR then goes on to talk about Connor Bedard and how he lit up the world juniors, and how he is going to look good in a Chicago Blackhawks jersey. He tells a good story about bringing home a rattlesnake to his wife.
JR also chirps the Seattle Kraken player Larsen about not being able to do an interview and how kids are not trained to do that now a days. He talks about the Michigan Goal, Dancing With The Stars, and all his favorite acting roles. He talks golf and concussion and so much more. This interview is one of the best I Only Touch Greatness has ever had. The Rookie dinner story he tells is great as well. He then goes on to talk about his legacy and what he left on the game.
