Pulse CPSEA Announces Helen Haskell as Co- Chair for 2023 Annual Patient Safety Symposium

WANTAGH, N.Y. - Jan. 12, 2023 - PRLog -- Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy today announced that patient safety leader Helen Haskell will be one of the co-chairs of its next symposium on patient safety, to take place March 15 and 16, 2023. Haskell is president of the nonprofit patient organizations Mothers Against Medical Error and Consumers Advancing Patient Safety, and a noted international expert in the field.

"The Landscape of Patient Safety: Where We've Been, Where We're Going (https://pulsecenterforpatientsafety.org/2023-symposium/)", Pulse's 8^th (and second virtual) symposium will present expert speakers  on the current state of patient safety in the US, and will explore new directions in the movement to reduce harm from medical error, which remains one of the nation's top causes of death and injury.

Sharing co-chair duties will be Robin Moulder, Senior Manager in the Division of Quality & Safety, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York.

The symposium's Keynote speaker will be Dr. Tejal Ghandi, MD, MPH, CPPS, Chief Safety and Transformation Officer at Press Ganey Associates LLC.
