Sustainable Printer B&B Press offsets 500+ tonnes of CO2 since 2020 with the World Land Trust

ROTHERHAM, U.K. - Jan. 13, 2023 - PRLog -- [B&B Press offsets the equivalent of 556.9 tonnes of CO2 since becoming a Carbon Balanced Printer in 2020, which has helped protect and restore 32.5 acres of threatened tropical habitat.

B&B Press is one of the first Carbon Balanced Printers in the UK, meaning it's actively reducing the CO2 created from print production to an absolute minimum. Once the CO2 is as low as possible, the emissions are balanced through its Carbon Balanced Printer scheme, which funds the World Land Trust to protect our biologically significant and threatened rainforests.

In 2019, the UK became the first major economy to pass a net-zero emissions law, requiring all greenhouse gas emissions to be brought to net-zero by 2050.

According to Carbon Trust, 55% of young people in the UK say they'd be more loyal to a brand that was reducing its carbon footprint. Overall, B&B Press' customers have helped balance the equivalent of 556,900kg of CO2, protecting 131,686m² of threatened rainforest and tropical habitats.

The unique World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Print logo can be proudly worn or printed on materials to demonstrate and communicate customers' commitment to reducing carbon impact.

B&B Press can also issue customers with a certificate quantifying the amount of CO2 balanced and the area of land protected as a result of them choosing to print sustainably.

World Land Trust helps people protect and restore land to safeguard biodiversity and the climate, protecting the world's most threatened habitats and species for the future. Any carbon emissions generated by products or activities are offset or 'balanced' by the carbon stocks saved when World Land Trust conserves ecologically important forestry under imminent threat of clearance.
