By: Chosen Inc. The fifth annual Open Hearts, Open Homes Gala begins at 5:30 p.m. at Davians, N56-W16300 Silver Spring Drive, Menomonee Falls. The evening of food, friends and fun will feature a "Roaring Twenties" theme, with guests encouraged to dress the era and be eligible to win prizes. Tickets are available through Feb. 8 at www.choseninlove.org/ Former FOX6 journalist Beverly Taylor is the featured speaker. A professional mediator, she serves on Chosen's Advisory Board, which helps guide the organization on many fronts. Additional presentations will detail Chosen's recent accomplishments. Since its last gala in 2021, Chosen Inc. moved its Family Closet to a larger space on Waukesha's south side, and opened a second Family Closet in West Allis. The centers provide free clothing and children's items to foster and adoptive families.
