Heathcliff Cherry Releases Songs on TVS Records Featuring His Unique Clavinet Sounds

The clavinet and harpsichord player for the Capehart Pops Orchestra has begun a single career featuring his clavinet after reviving the instrument as a member of Capehart Pops Orchestra, where he played on the Capehart Music Treasury series.

CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - Jan. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Heathcliff Cherry, a clavinet and harpsichord player from Gary, Indiana has released his first singles on the TVS Records label. Inspired by Stevie Wonder's use of the clavinet, Heathcliff Cherry has become noted for bringing the eclectic instrument to the forefront with his clavinet renditions of top songs of the 20th Century.

Capehart Music Treasury, the 2,000 song collection of top hits of the 20th Century, features the Capehart Pops Orchestra, for which Heathcliff Cherry plays the clavinet. Now, he is bringing the clavinet to the forefront for TVS Records.

The first songs released by TVS Records for Heathcliffe Cherry  include Oh How Happy, Wine Wine Wine, Brandy, and That's All Right Mama. A full album featuring his clavinet will be released by TVS Records in 2023.

Heathcliffe Cherry is one of 38 artists signed up to the TVS Records talent roster. All perform for the Capehart Pops Orchestra in the Capehart Music Treasury collection. Others include Bakersfield Brass, Charlie Favor (piano), Conchetto Rocco (cool jazz guitar), Ocie Newton (banjo), The Synthetic Sound Syndicate (synth), Pete Goodeman (sax), Tommy Guitar, and Pumpsy Keyes (organ),
