Spate Media Animates Dave East, Benny the Butcher and Whoistevenyoung

BRONX, N.Y. - Jan. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Spate Media has been animating some of the biggest hip-hop stars for the past decade. Spate recently teamed up with rap superstar LL Cool J to create animations expressing his positive messages and amazing stories. LL Cool J is building something special for hip-hop called Rock The Bells. He wants to use Rock The Bells to leave a legacy for the early creators of hip-hop. LL Cool J felt that the founders of hip-hop were forgotten, so he decided to build something where the founders could share in the wealth by giving them a piece of the company.

Spate Media founder Antoine Maurice King is a big fan of Dave East, Benny The Butcher, and Whoistevenyoung. He created an animation for their video "Don't Let Me Down." The concept of the video is the artists are in a bar and enjoying the experience while daydreaming about other events in their imagination.

Harlem-based MC Dave East has a style that is powerfully evocative of '90s New York hardcore rap while sounding modern enough to compete in the current hip-hop scene. He is a talented lyricist skilled at conveying gritty street narratives. East gained notoriety by releasing several independent mixtapes in the early 2010s. His favorite rapper, Nas, then signed him to Mass Appeal. The following year saw the releases of Kairi Chanel (2016), Paranoia: A True Story (2017), and the Top 40 hit Karma 3 (2020). In the Hulu series Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga, East also ventured into acting and played Method Man. The renowned rapper made an appearance on East's 2022 album HDIGH. The next song was Book of David, a joint effort between DJ Drama and Buda & Grandz.

Steven Young is currently working on the 'Bosco" movie soundtrack, and he also has a single called "Shittin' Me" featuring Dave East dropping in January. You can view all Spate Media animations on their youtube.
