NHL Goon Rob Ray joins the podcast and tells some great stories from his NHL days

TORONTO - Jan. 2, 2023 - PRLog -- NHL Tough guy Rob Ray joined the Vancouver Podcast I Only Touch Greatness podcast, to talk his career and some of his biggest fights.

Rob Ray shows off his great stick collection he collected over the years and tells a funny story about how he used to steal a stick from each player throughout the year. He tells the story of Martin Biron coming over to his house one time and seeing his goalie gear at Ray's house and wondering what went on.

Rob Ray talks about the role of enforcers in the game of hockey, before telling and confirming the story that Vancouver Canucks legends have told the podcast about the time that Tim Hunter went after Rob Ray underneath the bleachers of Pacific coliseum. He tells some great stories about the time that the drunk fan jumped over the glass and went to jump into he bench and Rob Ray laid into him about 18 good punches and how this fans face was mangled. Rob also talked about playing with and many fights against Matthew Barnaby. He also tells stories of other NHL tough guys like Wayne Van Dorp, Nick Fotiu being one of the toughest guys he ever fought.

Rob Ray then tells the guys about the rule the NHL brought in the Rob Ray rule and the invention of the tie down straps being added to the jerseys. Rob Ray then talks about this book he has out called Razors Edge.
