DR. MICHEL RATHBONE, MB, CHB, PHD, FRCPC
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER:

Dr. Rathbone, one of the founders of Libramen Naturals, obtained his medical degree is from the University of Liverpool, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from McMaster University and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada with Specialist Certification in Neurology.  He is a professor in the Department of Medicine (Division of Neurology) at McMaster University and has an active neurological practice based at Juravinski Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital Concussion Clinic and the Regional Rehabilitation Centre where he consults on inpatient spinal cord injury and acquired brain injury and runs acquired brain injury outpatient clinics. Part of his clinical work is in a combined Neuro-Physiatry Clinic in which he works together with a physiatrist diagnosing and treating patients with various musculoskeletal issues that overlap with neurological ones, including doing EMG studies.

MEET DR. SHUCUI JIANG, BSC, MSC, MD, PHD
SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR:

Dr. Shucui Jiang is one of the founders of Libramen Naturals and received her medical degree and undertook postgraduate clinical training with a specialty in Pathology from Qingdao Medical University in China. Dr. Jiang also obtained a M.Sc. in Biophysics at the Shanghai Medical University in China and went on to obtain her Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the Federal Institute for Neurobiology in Germany followed by postdoctoral training at McMaster University in Canada. Dr Jiang was a recipient of the Chinese International Trade Award for overseas scientists on the basis of her research addressing the mechanisms responsible for the neuroprotection and neurorestoration following central nervous disorders, particularly, stroke, spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease while at McMasters University.  Following her postdoctoral training, Dr. Jiang returned to China to help establish a natural products health clinic.  With her extraordinary background, and experience, Dr. Jiang has brought a wealth of knowledge and understanding of both natural products and cognitive health to BEAUTIFUL MIND COFFEE.

DR. CHRISTOPHER WINSLOW, BA, MSC, PHD
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER:

Dr. Christopher Winslow earned a BA in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo followed by a M.Sc. in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Texas Christian University.  Following his education, Dr. Winslow worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 18 years in research, development and manufacturing leading divisions in both organic and biologic chemistry.  Dr. Winslow joined Libramen Naturals in 2014 and has brought with him a wealth of knowledge in the areas of manufacturing, operations and applied research along with a strong background in analytics and chemistry.  Although Dr. Winslow's training and background is in the Western style of research and medicine he has always had a keen interest in the incorporation of Eastern and Western styles of medicine and enjoys expanding his knowledge and understanding of how the body works and how to help others live a better life.
