BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Dec. 8, 2022 - PRLog -- In a much-welcomed move, the Indian Government has re-introduced e-visas for British citizens, with immediate effect.  The 30-day tourist visas costs US$ 25 + 2.5% bank charge and can be applied for at least 30 days prior to the departure date from the UK.

There is also an option to apply for one-year multiple-entry e-tourist visas, which costs US$ 40 + 2.5% bank charges, and these can be applied for at least 120 days prior to departure.

Comments Hugh Fraser, Founder of Corinthian Travel: "This is great news for our clients, many of whom have been itching to start travelling to India again. The process is very straight forward and the fee very reasonable compared with some countries.  And, of course, it is great news for all the people that rely on tourism to put food on the table."

Then, delve into Rajasthan, to discover a riot of colour; admire the ornate forts and palaces of Jaipur with their glittering mirror-work and lovely miniature paintings. Next, traverse the timeless rural countryside of Rajasthan where you will stay at a converted palace hotel from which you can discover the delights of rural India.

The luxury holiday concludes with two nights' R&R in Udaipur – one of the most beautiful cities in the world – with an opportunity to stay at the Taj Lake Palace Hotel – arguably the dreamiest palace in India.
