The new "Sobering Consequences of Impaired Driving" campaign that highlights roadside memorials launched November 21st, 2022, an evolution of the "Wheel Risks" campaign that concluded in late June of 2022. According to the NJ DHTS, a quarter of all fatal crashes in New Jersey involve drug or alcohol impairment, the number of fatalities surmounting to 700 in 2021.
With headlines such as "It cost you your license, it cost him his life" and "Your next joy ride, could be her final ride," the "Memorial" campaign is designed to warn drivers about the very real and very scary risks of driving impaired.
Marketsmith's ads can be seen across various digital platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and streaming audio, as well as traditional radio. This campaign can also be seen on multiple billboards across state roads, serving as a reminder and warning to all New Jerseyans to drive safe and smart.
